Day 2 Griffith Park!! This is in LA also and this is where the space museum is. The large telescopes are behind me. They are enclosed and protected inside the building but can lift up and the ceiling can open.
They have shows on the stars and a lot of fun interactive things the kids can do to learn about the environment!! It is visually appealing and so much fun. We check our own infared light to talking about the periodic table, to experiencing electricity in its early forms. Thank goodness we have the electricity travel through wires and underground. It could have just been huge columns on every street sending electricity through the air when ever some one needed it!!
It was loud and scary!! You think the kids are afraid of lightning try electric currents not sent and controlled by the wires!! This pict. over looks LA from Griffith Park
